I successfully harvested some from my backyard to make a batch of this DIY hand sanitizer without alcohol and it turned out to be a wonderful consistency. I have to admit that although it would have been nice to buy Purell or some premade hand sanitizer, I am loving this recipe since I know exactly what is in it, plus it smells great.
